PJS has expanded its product range to offer a contract cutting service, capable of cutting materials of up to 3m x 2m in size and up to a thickness of 200mm. Materials cut range from rubbers and plastics to hardened steel.

Water jet cutting offers high precision cutting with no adverse effects or induced stress in the material being cut. Highly accurate cutting software allows intricate 2D shapes to be cut as well as basic machine profiling.

Although a relatively new departure for PJS, the contract cutting service is already winning customers because of its flexibility and its ability to deliver savings. PJS can offer this service for one off contracts or mass production repeat orders and has already been able to achieve a 30% saving in material costs for a recent contract customer when cutting out clutch pad facings.
